Spanning seven hectares, Entwined: The Maze is billed by Toverland as Europe’s largest Halloween Experience. The attraction leads visitors through a vast cornfield and a series of indoor scenes. EVRST Music created the sound design and original score for the experience. Theme Park Toverland
The creative brief was to make sound feel woven into the landscape. Across the outdoor fields, carefully placed audio helps build an unsettling atmosphere without immediately revealing where it comes from. As visitors venture deeper into the maze, the soundscape guides them further into Entwined’s dark world.
Inside, layered, multi-stem audio supports the storytelling in each scene. Sound cues are synchronized with lighting and visual effects to help each moment unfold as part of a unified experience.
The installation uses approximately 130 speakers throughout the maze.
